Sunset Boulevard

Watching the sunset has to one of the most beautiful natural wonders. Living on the coast I always go out to watch the sun setting over the beach however there is something that little bit more magically about watching set out in the middle of the sea. I really do not need to give you a massive spiel  about these pictures as they speak for themselves. I just hope that you enjoy them as much as I do…

As you may or may not know I have just come because from a cruise… I am currently in the process of writing the blog post and it will be uploaded shortly. I will keep you guys posted J Thank you all constructive comments are gladly accepted, please comment, share and follow.

Bright Lights in the Sky Light...

I tell you what, this hand held remote gizmo thing is the best £5 I have ever spent! Totally helped me to improve my photo taking. I have to admit that the firework were not the best as they has some pathetic little falling ones that are really hard to shot? But however putting all of this aside I am so so so impressed with how they have all turned out! This has made me even more excited to experiment when I go to America!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for looking… Comment, share and subscribe.

Let Your Colours Burst!!

FIREWORKS, love them on picture, hate them in real life… so for those of you that know me, going to a fireworks display was a massive achievement! Fireworks on pictures have always fascinated me as there is so much to consider the frame, how to deal with the large amount of light, the movement of the firework. So I definitely saw this shoot as a challenge as I normal just shoot still and quiet landscapes!  I am going to America later on this year and they have spectacular displays, so this shoot was a ‘practice’ to try different settings and see how well they turned out. Seeming as it was only a ‘practice’ shoot I feel it was a success. However, if I have learnt anything it is that I need to buy a wireless remote because the slightest movement when pressing the button affected the picture. Here are the few that I have picked out as my favorite:

Please comment and share it is really appreciated.

We are going to the Zoo, Zoo, Zoo!!!

So IM BACK and it’s been a while since I posted anything… But here is a shoot I did about 4/5 months ago. When doing this shoot I had slight nostalgia as I had not been to the Zoo in years and it was a place I loved to go as a child. (Even if my Grandparents conned me into thinking the pet shop was the zoo!) I really enjoy taking pictures of animals… even if they can be quite a challenge to capture, I dont think it is one of my best but worth sharing. :)

I would really appreciate it if you could take a look, share, follow and comment.

Take a drive and this is what you find…

The weather has been beautiful over the past couple of days, the ideal time to go out and take some photographs. After this shoot I have realised that I need to invest in some filters for my lens to make the sky more defined, especially on sunny days.

I’m not too sure where I ended up to be honest with you, I headed up to Scorton and then on from there finishing in Clitheroe (after trying to google map my route I think I headed into The Trough of Bowland, but who knows?). However on my drive I found a beautiful view (I would never be able to find it again, which is such a shame) but an old man started speaking to me and this place is apparently the second best view in Lancashire and I have to say what a view it was indeed.

After working constantly since October it has been nice to have this little bit of downtime, and I have realised how much I love going out and using my camera.

I would appreciate it you could comment, share and follow. Mucho Gracia!

The Bolton Abbey Wanderers

And I have to say wandering is a skill I pevail in, especially when doing shoots!
Bolton Abbey situated not far from Skipton. It has gothic looking ruins, the River Wharfe running alongside you with numerous dogs both big and small taking a paddle (Yes Meg did nearly get rugby tackled by a really big dog, as he made his way speedily past me to retrieve a stick), the Valley of Desperation (sorry I mean desolation!!!!!)  with big open fields that stretch for miles around (you literally think that it is never going to end, not a flat terrain by any stretch of the imagination), the waterfall that trickles down onto Simons Chair and of course the numerous amount of trees I could pick from to take pictures of. All in all I would say, Bolton Abbey is a beautiful place and a great way to spend an Easter Sunday! Here are some of my favourite shots that I captured today. Any feedback is welcomed, please also share! Thank-You!!!!!!
